Quietly is a full-service content marketing agency that offers services across the entire lifecycle of content marketing, from discovery and strategy to content creation and amplification. Quietly partners with organizations to understand how content drives their business, devising strategies and executing along the way.
We are looking for a student currently enrolled in a Communications or Publishing post-secondary program requiring an internship for a minimum of 8 weeks (12 weeks is preferred).
This is an ideal opportunity for students looking to gain editorial experience in a dynamic agency environment. As a part of Quietly’s Editorial team, you will work closely with our editors and writers to create compelling content for a variety of brands. You’ll learn the very latest in content marketing best practices, be exposed to our unique data-driven model, and help clients in exciting and innovative industries tell their stories.
This is a full-time internship opportunity from January–March 2019 based out of the Quietly offices in historic Gastown. Compensation is provided in honorarium.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Fact-checking and copyediting a range of content for our clients
Researching our clients’ respective competitive landscapes
Updating production schedules and maintaining associated documents
Helping to coordinate Quietly’s own marketing efforts

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Enrollment in a Communications or Publishing program requiring an internship
Excellent verbal and written English
Experience copyediting, fact-checking, and proofreading written content
The ability to convey ideas and stories in a succinct fashion
Experience working with different style guides
The ability to work within deadlines, manage time effectively, and multitask
A knack for developing and executing creative concepts
Initiative, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn!
