Reporting to the Head of Product, as a Product Designer, you will work with the development team to develop simple, innovative and beautifully designed products that customers love to use. You will be focused on building and driving the user experience while ensuring new features are adopted and understood by new and existing users. You’ll do this by first understanding our users needs through interviews and surveys and design user flows and interfaces that meet those needs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Gather user feedback (through interviews, surveys, etc.) and evaluate user needs in collaboration with our Product Manager and Developers
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences and designs for all aspects of Quietly Insights and other tools and technology
Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
Propose, present and defend design ideas to the Senior Leadership team, then iterate based on feedback
Maintain documentation for design and feature specifications
Maintain and organize a design repository
Establish and ensure consistent design quality
Manage multiple, shifting priorities, ensuring deliverables are met on a consistent basis
WHO YOU ARE
Have a portfolio demonstrating professional design experience with a great sense of style and usability with work examples including web and mobile products, works in progress, wireframes and your role on each project
4+ years relevant design experience at a high tech, product-driven company, ideally in the SaaS/B2B space
Experience creating digital user flows and wireframes (e.g. Sketch, Axure RP, or other tools)
Experience using prototyping tools (Marvel, Invision, etc)
Experience creating detailed user interface mock-ups (e.g. Sketch, Adobe Suite)
Knowledge of design methodologies and best practices for web, mobile and social
Knowledge of responsive web design techniques (must understand the Grid)
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments
Self-motivated, independent and flexible team player
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile development / Scrum-based environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and a professional approach to your work and colleagues
NICE TO HAVE
Understanding of front-end development, specifically HTML and CSS
