QA Analyst/Tester

Reporting to the Head of Product, as a QA Analyst and Tester, you will own the Quietly’s software testing plan, keeping Quietly’s tools and software as bug-free as possible. Working within an agile development team, you will be building upon our testing process, and be responsible for designing and executing both manual and automated test cases for each sprint.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Test all functionality of Quietly Insights and other tools and technology

  • Analyze and understand requirements to design test cases for new features.  Document defects and bug details

  • Define, implement and document manual and automated test plans to verify new features fully meet defined specifications

  • Develop and execute automation tests using Selenium with Javascript and Mocha testing framework.

  • Write complex SQL queries to test data collection and processing

  • Assist with bug fixes bugs

  • Verify, prioritize and help resolve QA issues

  • Create reports and share defects summary at the end of each sprint

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

  • You bring 3 years of professional experience in manual and automated web/mobile software testing

  • Knowledge of industry standard best practices in software testing

  • Experience with software testing procedures including creating test plans, designing test cases and executing manual testing

  • Experience in writing SQL queries and data testing

  • Knowledge of Selenium automated testing tool

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment while also being able to work independently

  • Experience working in Agile environments where changes are deployed to production frequently

NICE TO HAVE

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

  • Programming experience with Javascript

  • Knowledge of security and performance testing
